Is there a way to set titles and overlays to automatically fade in and out so I don't have to do the same thing to all my videos

when I add one?

Hi Angela -

The easiest way to do that is to make a template that you can re-use for each project. After it's in the timeline, you can modify it to suit the project.

There's no auto-fade, as such.

These two title templates are about the only ones I ever use (I know - boring): http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/detail/124828366 and http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/detail/124828367

A PiP Object template can be made in much the same way - e.g. a logo that you repeatedly use. Just resize it, then set it to fade in & out. Save it as a template and it will always be in your PiP Object library.

Cheers - Tony
