Dafydd; hi!

I'm sure you've seen all the posts about menues, and editing problems people have on this. ( As I did, too!).
Somehow, it's like PD7 is not responding to - what should we say- the "obvious" way we would like to go about it.
I have earlier made a post about the help-manual.
This is the sort of question it would be nice to have an answer for in the manual, because most people get to the point where they want to make a menu. In my limited technical pc-mind, it strikes me that it would be easier to put more into the help-file, than to alter the program?

Hi Nina,

The biggest problem is how to write up a description of actions for an editor to follow. I try and get video editors here to describe issues in bullet point fashion in the same way I give instruction. It doesn't always happen AND it takes a lot of effort..

Visual explanations work best and I would prefer to take that route than see a Help file which just confuses with too much information and has terms that "turn the light bulbs off" and just irritate the reader.

This is of course just my opinion....
