Powerdirector Mobile will not function (solved)

I am trying to run PDMobile on my Stream8. The app worked "fine" on my previous Stream8 (broken by dropping!). Let us put aside the fact that PDMobile is, well, not too spiffy, for this it doesn't really matter. The app installs, and opens, but the welcome screen never opens to the actual program, it's just the background splash. Several uninstall-reinstalls proved fruitless. I even tried REVO but it does not see the installation, I think because it's an app, not a program, but I do not know. Does anyone have any experience with this issue?

Just a note, Windows Movie Maker runs just fine, not really sure if that's of any significance. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Not yet, I always put my faith in my fellow forum members first, this place is full of very smart people.
One issue may be the replacement tablet is a refurb, tho I've seen no other hiccups.

After multiple re-downloads, installs/uninstalls to no avail, I gave up.
Then for kicks, I put an mini/micro SD card in the tablet and installed the app on that card. IT WORKED! HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

It worked fine (for what it is) on my other Stream so I was surprised when it wouldn't fully load. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

It is limited on how much you can do on a phone, but more useful on the tablet. Win 10, i7

Getting back to PDM,
there is almost nothing anywhere concerning the app, not even showing perhaps a chart of the differences (if any) in the purchased version against the bundled version. It's like a ghost-program, this is the first thread, to my knowledge, that even mentions it. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
