Getting MCE Remote to Work When Launched From Media Center

my setup is using Media Center on Windows 7, with iMon for managing the remote control input.

remote works great within media center, but when I launch PowerDVD from within media center to watch a BluRay, the only buttons that seem to work are Exit (takes me to PowerDVD menu) and menu (takes me to media center home).

is their a trick or some configuration I need to do? Overall the integration is pretty solid - especially the ability to resume where I last stopped, but not being able to pause or rewind or skip is rather annoying.

-Thanks

Definitely contact support. I use Win7 MCE and the official Microsoft remote and PDVD works perfectly using the remote when launched from within MCE.

Contacted support. Still waiting for any response.

If others have it working, I wonder if iMon throws things off...

I am also using a URC WR7 as the remote, not the actual MCE, but, the remote works without doing anything special to Media Center...

It must be iMON doing it then, since it works inside MCE without anything special being done. Try disabling it and trying it without it...or check for an update to iMON.

I read on another forum that people used the MCE codes instead of the Keyboard codes for programming iMON to work with PowerDVD and it worked properly. Give it a shot.
