Hi, I am trying to simply add words under an image, but the PD 14 seems to have tons of template effects, but none that

have NO effects. Anyone know how to add words without movement or anything, just words like I have typped here? Thanks.

Hi Angela -

Yes - most of the title templates are formatted with effects etc.

If you just want to keep it simple, drag the Default template (it's called "Default") to the timeline. There are no effects, shadows, borders etc. Just set the font & colour as you wish & you're done.

Cheers - Tony

It should appear first in the title template library under "All Content".

Here it is - http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/detail/124827800

So, now how does one position or move around the title after we type it in? There are so many tutorials it will take forever to watch them all... thanks.

oh, I think I got it, I had to pull the arrows around. I wish I could move the entire "box" instead of pulling the arrows though. We have LOTS of snow in NY!!!

Select the title, Click Modify on top of the timeline.

In Modify, put your mouse pointer on the edge of the dashed line, when the cursor turns to a double arrow cross hair, press left mouse button, drag the box to where you want it on the image/video.
