AudioDirector 6 Importing MP3 Issue

Hi Guys,

It seems like my copy of AudioDirector I got from buying PowerDirector can't import MP3 files. It gives me this error everytime I try to import any MP3 file that I have (attached). Is this a common issue or am I missing something? I can import WAV files just fine but I don't know why I can't import MP3 files when it says that is supported here (https://www.cyberlink.com/support/product-faq-content.do?id=15116&prodId=252&prodVerId=973).

Hello Naisu,

Welcome to the ADR forum.

That's a concerning problem you have importing MP3 files. I gather, from your description, that the MP3s come from a variety of sources & would therefore have differences in how they're encoded (e.g. bitrate, variable/constant bitrate, different encoders used).

Attached is a zip file containing some short MP3 samples, some downloaded, some produced in ADR, WE or other software. Could you please test these MP3 files in your ADR6?

I apologize for the terribly long time that it has taken me to reply since I didn't receive any notice on my email that a reply w as given on my thread. I have tried importing the MP3 files that you gave on the zip file to AD6 but none of them imported and still gave the same error. I wonder what's wrong.
