This is my last try to fix this problem, if it dosent get solved i will leave power director and find something since theres always errors with this software. Ok, I record games with Dxtory. When i load the videos in PDR14 or try producing them i get error code 3 and to check all my drivers. Yes they are all up to date, I tried out K-lite pack and many other codecs. I tried changing some things in windows, updating to the different patches. I record in AVI ( I have too!), I simply need a encoder to use with Dxtory that will work with PDR14. Yes I tried changing the profiles and rendering formats in PDR14. A picture of the error, Dxtory, and more below. Pls help, I had this problem for a year.

Hi Todd -

There's no issue, in general terms, with compatibility between Dxtory screen captures & PDR14. From your screenshot, it looks like it's your audio selection that's bringing up the media source error.

I just did a quick Dxtory recording (.AVI), using the Dxtory video codec (as you did) and PCM audio (the default in preferences). It imported into PDR14 and played back without issue. I produced it to AVC H.264 M2TS 1080p with no errors.

The side-by-side MediaInfo reports from the screen capture & produced file are attached.

What audio settings did you use for your recordings?

Cheers - Tony
