Unable to play movies in 3D - Windows 10

I'm running windows 10 x64 on my media PC and PowerDVD 15. Under previous builds (Win 8.1 and PowerDVD 13) when I played a 3D Blu Ray the application would send the signal in 3D to the TV and trigger it to display 3D.

Currently no matter what settings I select in 3D settings (ie manually selecting HDMI 1.4 or setting it to auto) it will never display 3D. The display will go full screen and the frame rate to 24 fps but wont display in 3D, instead it looks like a 2D image.

I've run the BD and 3D advisor which indicates everything passes (which is no surpirse vecause it worked on win 8.1 with PDvD 13).

I've also uninstaled PDVD 15 and installed PDVD13 in windows 10 and the 3D doesn't work on either version so looking like a win 10 issue.

I have the latest drivers for my AMD video card

Anyone had any ideas?

Some people get caught up on not enabling the 3D mode within your GPU settings. I dont know AMD, but can you view 3D content outside of PowerDVD? With NVIDIA you need to enable stereoscopic 3D and enabled a 3D desktop resolution, then you can test it via the inbuilt medical image test.

However for me, PowerDVD based 3D Playback on Windows 10 remains badly broken and so far all Cyberlink has done for months has been to blame NVIDIA, without engaging NVIDIA themselves or really putting any effort into having reliable and working 3D for setups like mine. The testing cyberlink does is deeply flawed and they use that as an excuse to claim they cant replicate problems. Other times on other bugs when they do admit there is a problem, Ive waited months/years for fixes.

Anyway goodluck with yours and hopefully itll work for you on your setup.

I have the same problem, also running Windows 10 but with Nvidia like nullack. Tv goes to 3d mode and everything seems fine but video is still 2D. Sometimes it works out of nothing but most of the time it doesn't.

I've contacted cyberlink support about the issue but didn't really get a reply yet beside the basic stuff like checking drivers, updates etc and send them some analytics reports.
