What color would be the most practical to have as backdrop in order to change the backgroud view?

If you mean to Chroma key out, blue and/or green most effective for people scenes as they differ in hue from most human skin colors so you don't loose people color clarity. However, any uniform well lit color can be used, scene dependant.
