Wont play MKV or MP4 files

After upgrading to W10 and getting the W10 patch from the downloads section. PowerDVD 15 still hitches and hesitates on the video of these formats MP4 and MKV. It worked before now it doesnt

Please point to a place where we can download one of the videos you are trying to play. As an alternate, upload a few seconds of a video to this forums so we can try to play it.

I assume that everything on your computer is up to date? .

Windows 10 updates generally requires re-install of the device driver GPU software. Thats what I found with being a windows insider with going from different windows 10 builds. Each build needs a clean install of all the geforce experience software, the HDMI sound, the 3d nvision driver, the graphics driver etcetc. Do that and I believe the issues will be solved.

We did reinstall all the updates needed for audio and video. powerDvd still hesitants on videos. They are movies saved on my harddrive.
