I have resently brought a new laptop. I had PD13 on my old laptop and suscessfully instsalled it on my new one. There are a few PDS files on my old laptop that I would like to transfer to my new one. I put them onto a memory stick and they seemed to readily transfer across. When I then tried to open one of the files or drag them I get a message saying that the file cannot be opened as it was moved or missing. Is there is something I can do. I cant open PD on my old laptop I get a message "Concurrent sessions cannot be supported" Anyone know I can transfer my files and get them to play on my new laptop....help

The way to move projects is to package them if you can not open PD on the old computer you will have to move all of the files used in the project. You will probably also have to search for them as you open the project.
I don't have the computer on to get the exact steps. __________________________________

I suspect you have a hung session of PD that is creating the concurrent message. One simple way to correct if you are not familiar with task manager is to simply shutdown and power on again, not just a sleep cycle but a full restart or shutdown.

As Jaime say: You have to copy all files used i the project.

The easiest way is to use 'Pack Projects Material' and save the material i a folder of its own.

Then copy this folder to your memory stick (hopefully your memory stick is big enough - else you must copy the the folder in smaler parts)

Then copy the folder on your memory stick to your new labtop.

This way you won't have messages saying that the file cannot be opened as it was moved or missing.

I've done this lots of times.
