Hi, was going to post this, and tried one more thing. Have an old Reagan speech am pulling something out of for doc. After taking out about 10 secs in middle, the first 2 secs of following video is frozen, but audio correct?? Tried all sorts of ways, and same thing. It is mp4 h264 according to properties in PD13.

I then produced whole unedited clip as a WMV, then did edit on that. Problem went away.

Hope this is of help to others

Hi Darp1

What you have described sounds like a problem caused by high bitrates and is an extremely common problem.

Can I suggest that you have a look at this thread http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/46177.page Magic+PD is designed to eliminate this kind of thing. Have a read and give it a try you have nothing to lose.

Thanks Shadow. The clip was a 480 30 sec mp4 h264 that is only 15 megs in size. And I have a fast i7. So seems something wierd, and have not had it happen before. It was part of a 70 min overall project with HD stuff in it. And when I did a seperate 30 sec project to try and fix, prob was still there till went WMV.

However did watch a few videos on your link, interesting.

In future may likley need it.

Cheers

Hi Darp

Yes, If you work in 4K at any time you'll find this program great. It's also great if you use POWER TOOLS.

Give it a try and let us know how you get on
