hi: i have updated to 2221 and still have this problems:

1. FREEZE ing when trying to make blu ray disk h264 or mpeg 2 at the 1 % when clicking start burning. (i have to mention in the notebook i7, ssd 240 intel 520, 8gb ram, nvidia 1gb i don't have this problem PD 14 works even it crash a severel times at over 20 %, befere making blu ray, after a couple of hours it worked good). I noticed over 20% power director rander out the production video files and below 20% the menu.


2. When clickng MUTEn a clip the line for dimming the sound or incresing doesen't remove. (the sound it apears to be mute)


3. At some formats the slowmotion interpolation technology doesen't work ; by the way it's not a good ideea who made the slowmotion editor because now you have to stay too long to make a clip in slowmotion; it was much easier before and worked good in PD 13 too.


4. When you save your project the menus in CREATE DISK as you customized them the PD 13, 14 dosen't keep the settings of the menu, any menu... when you turn off the program and then you re turn on. If applays olso SOMETIMES when clicking on Edit and then bank to create disk again. (PS i use older menus from other versions and the new menus) .


5. The motion tracker is not accurate because when tracking a licence plate of a speeding vehicule and pixelate/blur it it doesen't track very good the position UP/DOWN

* In dxdiag i have a message ,,dxdiag decect that you might have a problem to Direct Show'' so i have to ask it is a possibility from here to have that FREEZE at point 1. ? Looking forward to fix this problems. Thanks

i did unchecked ,,Hardware encoder'' and still does the same.

With the Last Beta Patch 2221 on PD14 there is no sound in the Preview Handler, if i put Samsung Galaxy Note 4 1080 60p Streams in the Timeline. The Preview is much stuttering and the "Sound Icon" is crossed out. No operation is possible, could'nt activate the sound.

With Build 2019 there is no problem. And with PD13 there isn't this issue, too.

This Issue is present with both Intel HD4600 Graphics and GeforceGTX960 with newest Drivers on Windows 8.1 x64 and with Windows 10 x64 with latest Updates.

I have found another bug.

If i create a BD Movie Disc with Chapters and Hardware Video Encoding is On (Geforce GTX960 GPU), then all BD Movies runs always from beginning, if i want to play next chapter or use the fast forward.

This Bug concerns both, 1080 60i and 1080 60p created BD Discs.

Not only playback with Computer, on TV with external BD Player, too.

Without GPU Transcoding the Quality is worse.


With Intel GPU there isn't this Issue(s).


Could anyone confirm this issues ?!

How can I uninstall this patch? I was hoping it would fix a problem I have but it did not, so I'd rather run the last official version - but I see no way to uninstall the patch (if I run it again it just re-installs itself, no uninstall option)

Yes, it's impossible to uninstall it. I tried to install Patch 2019 over the Beta 2221, but there comes a windows with like"incorrect Version"...

i Think you need to reinstall completly PD14.
