Substituting slideshow background images

In the "normal" PD download a user can substitute their own background images in slideshows, not just the ones DESIGNED to accept user-backgrounds, but you can also do it by slipping the image into the proper program folder. Let's face it, some of those need to be replaced to suit other themes.

Can this user-hack be done with the LIVE version of PD without screwing the pooch? HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
Nvidia GTX 960(4GB)/16GB DDR3/
Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.

Hi Barry -

As far as I understand the way the LIVE version works, I couldn't see any problem substituting those images in the template folders.

To be honest, I haven't tested it but I'd be confident it would function just as the "normal" version does. After all - the software, and all its templates & sub-folders are on your PC - right? It's not like you're trying to access resources online.

Cheers - Tony
