Hello Robert,

https://membership.cyberlink.com/prog/support/cs/customer-services.do (Customer Service) is the best place to find out.

If you purchased PhD 6 at a discounted price, I doubt whether a "free" upgrade would apply. There's certainly a 30-day refund policy, but the Customer Service people would be best to advise.

They took care of me by issuing a credit for the upgrade to PHD6 Ultra that I just purchased. I now have the PHD7 Suite as a upgrade to the original PHD5 that I had.
