Hi total newb here.

I have already done this on one test video but now having trouble.

All I want is to have 3 images on screen, I have resized them, 1 on left , 2 on right, and I just want each to fade in on their own.

Ive applied a fade to each indiividual image Which have their own line on the move so they can overlap.

However the fade applies to all three images so each time one appears the others on screen fade off and back on again.

What am I doing wrong? dffd

You can see what I mean here, the images fade in on their own.

Cant seem to do it again.

It would help if you could post a screenshot of your timeline. Take the screenshot on your computer and save it, then use that blue Attachment button to send it when you're typing up your reply.

If you want the clips to fade out at different times, then they need to be staggered on the timeline. If they all end at the same point and have the same transition on them, they'll all act at the same time.

I'm not sure what you mean by "the fade applies to all three images" If they're on the separate tracks what happens to one shouldn't have any effect on the others, so that's why seeing what your project looks like would be so helpful

I think I understand what you want.

A 3 pictured video wall?

If you want them to fade in or out, double click on each individual picture. Scroll down on the left hand side of the PiP designer where you will find a section for "fades" - select the required fade, and that should work for you.

Do this for each track

You can also vary the fade sequence by clicking on a pic in the timeline and then select keyframe above the time line and experiment with the opacity selector

Hi jammanUK2000

I didn't see your video before my last post, but I just wtched a couple times and don't see anything unusual happening. I don't know when the clips were supposed to fade out, so I can't tell if they're doing it on cue or not.

The only other thing I noticed was the top left clip seems to transition/loop to a similar clip as it's fading in around 0:07 and again as it's fading out at 0:27. Is that related to your issue in any way?

Again, having a screenshot of your timeline would make it a lot easier to see where the problem might be.
