Can I set the default size and position of images imported into PD13?

Hi, I am creating a slideshow of wedding photos as a 1920 x 1080 video. When I import my photos, they always come in resized to fill the 1080 pixel height and fully fill the height of the frame. Whilst I can resize and re-position the photo manually, is there a way to automatically set that by default whenever you import a new photo so that they are all the same? I need at least space at the bottom to place the sub-title and some space at the top, just for elegance sake.

Thanks for your help. Editing Computer: Intel I7-3770K 3.50GHz, RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 1866MHz

As far as I know PD13 does not do what you want.

The way I would in your case, I add all photos in the timeline, adjust one photo.

Copy Attributes, adjusted photo.

Paste Attributes all selected photos.

The photos must have the same aspect ratio.

Another option:

Select all or a group of photos on the timeline.

Button Magic Tools / Magic Motion.

Set at the beginning and end (can give movement if you like).

Hi Again, David

The nearest thing I can find to setting a default is as follows:

Place all you clips in the timeline. Highlight the first one and set it up to the size you want. Then while it is still highlighted, right click and select "copy keyframe attributes". Then highlight the second photo and place your finger on the shift key and click on the last one. They should now all be highlighted once they are, right click again and select "paste keyframe attributes". All your clips should now act the same as the first one.

Not quite default, but nearly. Panny TM10, GH2, GH4,

Hello,

I just got back from SE Asia and have over 8000 photos to process. I am making slideshow videos for my blog.

The methods above won't work because the photos are done with different cameras and distortion is an issue.

I have a picture resizer that will do batch sizing but I don't know what the height and width should be in pixels to accommodate PD13.
Can someone enlighten me as to the height and width in Pixels that will work in either 4.3 or 16.9?

Thanks ahead of time.
Charlie
