Any idea why this video gets automatically rotated when imported into PowerDirector?

It views fine everywhere else

Trim the video so we don;t have to wiat too long to open it. I have a pretty fast internet and it has been several minutes.
What are the properties of thew video? Right clcik on it in your folder, select properties and then details. .

Add the video on the timeline, if have a message, Aspect ratio conflict ... answer No.

Select one clip, directly in the preview screen, rotate and resize image to the size and normal position.

If you have many clips in the same situation, right click with the adjusted clip, choose Copy Keiframe Attributes.

Select all the other clips, right-click, choose Paste Keyframe Attributes.

The original video is rotated in vlc but not in wmp. This would point to an orientation flag used in your cell phone.

The video is only 55MB: I see it coming at 10KB/sec, reminds me of the good old days of modems. The CL site has been so slow lately, maybe for longer (haven't been on for quite a while). It's part of the embedded profile attributes . Run mediaInfo and look for the rotation parameter: 90°. It was encoded like that. I7-4770, 3.40Ghz, 16GB RAM, Asus Z87-Plus Z87chipset, Sapphire ATI Radeon HD7850 PCI Express-16 3.0 2GB, Samsung EVO 840 SSD 1TB
