Run the 3D/Blu Ray Advisor. You can get it using trhe Support tab at the top of this page. It will tell you if your computer and set up is OK for playing the blu rays,

The trial version has these limits:

Trial Limitation

30-day trial version. - VC-1/H.264/Blu-ray format playback in the trial version is limited to systems with hardware acceleration.
Does not support the playback of HEVC/H.265/Blu-ray 3D content.
Does not support the playback of CPRM/DTCP-IP protected content.
Does not support USB Sync and Home Media Server.
Does not support audio extraction from video files.
Does not support CD audio ripping.
A CyberLink account is required to access CyberLink Cloud features.
2GB of free storage in CyberLink Cloud is provided during the trial period.
Media content in CyberLink Drive may be deleted when the trial expires.
CyberLink Cloud for Power Media Player is not supported in the trial version.
Transcoding media before uploading to CyberLink Cloud is not supported in the trial version.

Thanks. I ran the 3D/Bluray advisor and all the items passed except - the Software Player PowerDVD 15 (30-days trial version).

So it brings me to my original question - Can PowerDVD15 trial version play Bluray discs?

Apparently not the blu ray disc(s) you have or your computer dies not meet the requirements such as having hardware acceleration listed above.

Buy the full version and return it if it doesn't work for you.

Mu Power DVD Ultra demo Played Blu-Rays Just Fine, Once I Purchased the FULL version, I had Problems, and The Remote refuses to work as indicated. And Video Playback on the Paid version of Blu-Rays Stutters terribly, I'm considering Returning it for refund, Since $98 is a bit salty for a spastic Program, Who's Free Demo Out-Performs in every aspect !
