I'm using the 'Monopoly travel' menu template. Even if I remove the background music loop.wav which shows up by default, the preview still plays the music. How then does one turn off the menu music, or is it part of the template and unremovable? Hi CV27 -

I'm unaware of a "Monopoly Travel" menu template. Do you perhaps mean the standard "World Monopoly" disc menu template?

If so, you would need to uncheck Include Menu Opening Video. That "loop.wma" is played during the opening video before the Root menu page opens.

When you unselect the music track in Create Disc, it only affects the actual menu pages. If you wanted to keep the opening video, but change the music, you'd have to replace it with something different (renamed "loop.wma") in the template folder.

Cheers - Tony

I have bought a new camera and when I insert clips into PD13 a box appears telling me to change my timeline frame rate to 50 frames BUT as soon as I start editing and viewing in HD Preview the timeline starts jumping along but the music playing is still at the part I was editing. After spending 3 days and 3 nights uploaing video clips to Cyberlink and numerous communication emails. A solution was found by Cyberlink, it is a technical issue!!!

If I preview in 'Normal' Preview the timeline works fine, but not my eyes, it is very hard to edit with such poor quality preview. Cyberlink also suggested I remove Real-time preview but that is no good either, I want to hear the music so I can match up a song to the video clip I am editing.

The best yet, my last response from Cyberlink

Thank you for writing back.Regarding your concern, I would like to inform you that your concern has being forwarded to our Product team and they will work on based on user's suggestion. As the issue is with performance, it could be the system specific issue, you may use higher performance machine for better editing and check if it helps.

I don't think I am going to pay around £300 - £400 for a new computer just to find out if that would help.

Surely all new cameras will have more than 24 frames and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and fingers crossed if they have maybe they have found a way to get around it.

You need to start a new topic as you are not adding a comment about the monopoly menu template posted by CV27. You don't beleive what Cyberlink tech support told you. A good computer won't be 300 pounds. It's more like 600 to 800 pounds minimum for a good desktop pc without a monitor.

I purchased a new pc years ago because I don't have patience and not willing to wait for shadow files to generate and finish which would solve your problem for free at no cost.
