My display is a Vizio M801D-A3. I previously have watched many 3D Blu rays using this set, PowerDVD 14 and a nVidia GTX460 without issue (frame packing). Now with PowerDVD 15 and the Intel graphics, I'm seeing issues preventing normal viewing.
The TV is set for 1080P 24Hz or 60Hz. When I play a 3D blu ray. When I launch a movie and do NOT let PowerDVD change the refresh rate, the best way to describe what appears to happen is the stereoscopic images tend to "wobble", making for very bizarre 3D image that seems to be incorrectly moving through its 3D space.
if I say yes to automatically change the refresh rate, my screen blanks for a moment, then returns with PowerDVD frozen, and eventually quitting on its own, but it did change the refresh rate to 24Hz.
So far the only way I'm able to get some (not all!) of my 3D blu rays to work is using Reclock and trying different methods of processing the framerate until I find one that sticks.
I know this is an odd issue, but any suggestions would be helpful. Thx
