OK. First of all, your ATI/AMD video driver is from April, 2013 so it's really, really out of date! Please go to the AMD *website* and download the latest drivers for your Win7 x64 system.

The next step would be to come back to this forum thread and click on the Edit button for the really long post with your DxDiag results, and then remove all the text so that the thread will be readable again. You can't actually remove the post, but you can make the box very small and easy to skip over.

Next, install the new AMD driver and see if that makes things any better.

Is there a reason you formatted your HDD as FAT32? Not sure if that makes a difference with PD13 but the norm would be NTFS. That's interesting, but I don't think that's a huge issue. However, that got me looking deeper into the HDDs and I found that they're both only SATA II (3.0Gbps), so there's no way they could "keep up" with the i7 and 32GB RAM when editing and I think they are basically a bottleneck.

Vibs, if you have a nice new ASUS motherboard, a powerful CPU and tons of RAM, why are you running old, slow drives? If you could get an SSD for your C: drive and a SATA III (6.0Gbps) replacement for your E: drive, that would speed up your performance noticeably.

You don't say what kind of video you're working with, but if it's 2k/4k you'd really need the faster drives. And like Skibum said, they should be NTFS for better file protection and (slightly faster) speed.

This pc performance should be okay as is unless you want more speed as others might suggest to improve that pc experience in video editing, etc.

Got it didnt know it PD can required that high performace drive.

This drive i use only for windows OS as SSD drive is main one and using LINUX OS, that what i use for work.

Anyway thanks all. I,ll upgrade the drive and will try to find nice display adapter can work with LINUX as this OLD adapter currently supported without any fuzz.

All Sorted. Upgrade the drive and now its running as it should.
