That's a very helpful article, and I noticed a few things that matter for us PD enthusiasts:
It was written a year ago, before PD13 was released. PD13 works with AVC-S video, even though Sony Vegas Pro is listed as the only editor that works with that format.
The article talks about "online" and "offline" editing, where you're either working with the actual footage or with a lower-resolution version to make editing easier on lower-powered machines. "Offline" in the article is what Cyberlink refers to as using Shadow Files.
Also, the article recommends using dual GTX760(M) GPUs for "online" 4k editing, but I don't beleive PD will support full speed utilization of dual cards. I know that SLI is not supported, although the embedded HD Graphics in i7 chips is used together with the main add-in GPU if both are enabled in BIOS/UEFI and in Windows via Device Manager.
