In Greeece, pal dvd resolution is 720x576. You will lose quality converting m2ts of 1920x1080 resolution to dvd. Better to buy a BD player to keep the full 2k resolution. You can also create an avchd disc on dvd which will have the full resolution. See this link for dvd information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD-Video . The dvd resolution is about 1/6 that of BD.
