Not sure if this was posted anywhere, but wanted to get more info. I record home videos at 1080 60P, can I convert it to PAL 50fps DVD ? When should I use 60FPS ? Are Blu-ray automatically rendered at 60fps ? HSSR

There are 50 fps formats for BluRay disks.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-ray#Video

  1. Set your Preferences > General, Timeline frame rate to 50 FPS (PAL).

  2. Load and edit your movie.

  3. In Create Disk > 2D disk. Select BluRay.

  4. You have the choice of 1920x1080/50i ( you can choose either H.264 or MPEG 2) H.264 makes smaller files.

  5. Menu Preferences, you can choose your menu.

  6. Click Burn in 2D.

  7. You can burn the disk, burn a folder, or create a ISO file.

  8. Wait until finished.

Thanks Carl, this is what I did, but did not select Blu-ray option but used the DVD option to create the folder. I can also use 25fps, but will 50 fps give a better resolution or clarity when burnt on the DVD ? HSSR

Maybe. It may be better for fast movement. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.
