My friend borrowed my video camera and was video taping their kids jumping off a bridge into the river. They rotated the video camera so the picture looks better. Now to view the video, you have to rotate you head side ways to watch the video! Is there any way to rotate the video like you do a picture?

Thanks in advance.

You can place a colour board in the video track then drop the video in the PIP track. In the PIP track you can edit the size and orientation of the video.

Jeff,

You could also use the Rotate Canvas effect in the Effects Room (the “star in the film clip” icon), by dragging the Rotate Canvas effect into the Effect Track under the Master Video Track and then modifying to suit.

But heed "pjc’s" excellent suggestion, as by using that method, as "pjc" said, you can also (via the Modify tab), adjust the size, aspect ratio, and placement of your video in the viewing pane.

Excellent call pjc!

Thanks for both ideas and for getting back to me so quickly. I tried them both and like the results.
