How to delete Track 2 audio from the time line

Add a third track, video only. Move it infront of track 2. Remove track 3 audio and video (the old track 2).



The new track 2 cannot be removed, but the audio portion of that track is now gone. Paul C

PD13 does not remove the default track.
You can add and remove extra tracks.

Dragged the track 2 to track 3, you can remove the track 3 with the contents of the track 2.

Use the UNDO button to redo.

I had done this intentionally and thought someone else might have that need as well. I did it to try to place my 9 video tracks at the top where the would be easier to work with without scrolling. If it was possible, I would have deleted the Track 1 or moved it to the bottom to get the audio portion of that out of the way. Paul C
