I have been using the free trial for a school movie project and finally decided to purchase the full version because I liked it so much. Currently my project is in the free trials folder and I am concerned that I won't be able to transfer it when the disc arrives. Is there anything that I have to do to ensure that I can open the project in the purchased version and still have all of the imported media/shadow files and stuff?

File > Pack Project Materials to a Folder on your hard drive that you know where the Packed Project is. By using Pack Project Materials that insures that all of the files used on the timeline are available.

If you have some material that is not used on the timeline, you can create a sub-folder in the Pack Project folder and copy the unused files.

As to shadow files, those you do not need, they will be recreated in the paid version when you open the packed project.
