Hi Guys and Girl

Have any of you experienced this error message before and what did you do to prevent it from occurring?

Note: I do have the latest QT and WMP etc etc

I'm producing to the same as the source files 1920x1080 50i 24mbps

Note: My workaround was to uncheck the Intel SVRT thingy

Hi Neil,

Of all the different warning signs I've had PD display during the years, this is one I haven't seen! ( I rarely use SVRT....for some reason I don't quite trust the thing....)

Nina
Just something.

Error has been around for many versions of PD, sometimes perhaps unwarranted. What I think occurs is that if PD for some reason had some type of unique encoding error for a particular format it sets a flag in windows registry. Once done, anytime one try’s the same task, you get this perhaps unwarranted error. You can see that effect in the attached pic.

If your system should be capable of producing the format in question, one needs to reset the windows registry key back to 0 from the imposed value of 1. ( HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cyberlink\CES_FunctionLogger\Data ) Edit windows registry at your own risk!

In this particular case, PD wouldn't let me produce basic H.264 1920x1080i encodings which I do daily. A reset of the key to 0 eliminated the unwarranted error.

Hi Jeff

Interesting observation - thanks for sharing.

The next day I opened up my project and hit the produce key and everything worked fine, no error message, nothing cool

Odd, but hey that's PD!
