What are the best recording codecs for Sony FDR-AX100 Handycam?

I have a Sony Handycam FDR-AX100 and just purchased PowerDirector13. The video camcorder can record in three codecs or formats: XAVC S 4K, XAVC S HD and AVCHD. I would like to use all three. Does PowerDirecto13 support all three? If so, what would be the best Frames Per Second to use for each one?

XAVC S 4K has settings for 30p fps or 24p fps @ 100Mbps and 30p fps and 24p fps @ 60 Mbps

XAVC S HD has settings for 60p fps 30p fps or 24p fps all @ 50Mbps

AVCHD has settings for 60i fps 60p fps or 24p fps at various speeds ranging from 5M to 24M

With PowerDirector11, I had some issues with video and sound being in sync after "Producing" the movie. I was then using recordings from a Canon Vixia HV-30 that recorded 1080i @ 24 fps.

Any recommendations or other feedback would be welcome. Tom in Inver Grove Heights

I have owned the same camera for about a year and have used 264 AVCHD 4K 30P but mostly 60P 60 Mb, producing to a HD or USB drive. I also burn to 25GB BR as a data file and play it with the PC. PD13 does a very good job with the AX100 material.
You may have problems editing at 100Mb, the general consensus of AX100 owners is that there is no material or even noticeable difference betwee 60 and 100 Mb, my cameras file format is XAVC S,60Mb.

My favorite player is the Media Player Classic it is one of the few that makes use of the GTX960 graphics card. I watch on a 70" 4K TV via HDMI 2 connection to my PC. The AX100 material just looks stunning.

Take a look at this:

Thank you so very much! I will start recording in those formats you mentioned and test out the process. I didn't want to record too much at first and then be disappointed that I didn't record in a better format. Tom in Inver Grove Heights
