Changing duration moves entire track. :/

I was wondering why all my titles and graphics kept shifting on the track until I realized... every time I right clicked a title and lessened the duration, the entire track and everything on it shifted. I only want to change the titles' duration and now I have to go to each graphic and title that came after and place them back where they were. I find that very frustrating and a waste of precious time. undecided

The way I do, click on the title of the border, appears to double arrow, hold and drag to get the size that you want, release and is given the options, select trim only.

Note: To change the title size is shown duration, last line.

I actually have done it that way as well.

The message was written for the fact that, I didn't realize that what you just described is the only way to do it right on the timeline if you don't want your whole track to shift. I just realized it waaaaay into the editing.

Thank you much for your quick response! Chrissy Vee
