Different times in VLC and Windows Media Player

Hi,

once I have produced a video in DVD format, I play it on bothe VLC Media player and WMP.

I noticed that the time, shown, is differnt from each other.

Eg, a certain scene is played in VLV after 28: 26 and in WMP after 27: 44

To be honest, i don't care as long as the result is OK, but i am just curious...

The DVD times on PDVD matches the time on WMP on a 1 minute test dvd. The times shown on VLC disc mode is about double that. Play the vob file only on that DVD and the VLC times matches that on WMP. This probably answer the question on your other post too. VLC is independent software. laughing
