Am I missing something or is there no way to apply a marker into a clip within a track to manually align it to another?

This is a basic and very useful function that should be in every editing software.

Multicam designer is a great feature, but it has limitations and I don't like using it.

If I understand right, you can add markers in the timeline.

Right click on the ruler select Add Timeline Marker.

When you drag a clip, it automatically adjusts the mark.

Also making a split in the video 1.

You can align video 2, this Split.
