Is there a way of making sound track in time line larger, vertically, so that I can visually see when a new voice or effect comes in for fine cutting? Or, is there a way of viewing the sound track in the preview window instead of the visual track? Again, I wish to be able to slide track back and forth while watching and listening to find the exact first frame of a new voice or music. I come from a background of film editing (40 years ago!) where I could hold tape in both hands while sliding back and forth through over tape head to aid in finding first or last frame in a segment for editing. I'm trying to find best way for doing it while editing in PD. I'm not talking about making time line wider horizontally, but vertically so easier to see what's on track.

Click on the line between two track, the left column near the lock, a double arrow appears, drag down increases the height of the track.
