Here`s my issue with two videos as they transition into one another,

I don`t want the videos to cross fade.

I want to know how can I cross fade ONLY THE AUDIO of the two different videos, whilst having the video/audio stay in sync??

If my question is still unclear (noob here sorry lol):

Say there's these two scenes:

1. Train scene.
2. Parking lot scene.

How could the audio from both scenes cross fade into each other, while the train scene stays synced to its original audio & the parking lot scene stays synced to its original audio as well? And without the videos cross fading ever?

How is this possible???

I think PD13, does not have this option Cross Fade.
I think it would have to overlay a video on another, using another track and apply the fade out (audio) Video 1 Video In and fade (audio) video 2.

A technically wrong option but can be used in some cases.

Unlink audio video clip 1 and 2, select only the audio clip, hold the Ctrl key, take the right edge of the clip 1, drag to lengthen the time equivalete the transition.
Now overlap and apply only to the audio crossfade.

It is complicated but can be made depending on the time of each clip should not notice any lack of synchronism.

Might there is a plug-in for this kinda thing? Does cyberlink work with plug-ins like the one highlighted in this video???
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PepLyRKogmE

Because if that plugin or something similar could work with power director that looks perfect, thoughts on that?

Also I will try out the 2nd part of what you wrote here soon.
