nVidia just released a new WHQL driver today, and it may be worth a look to see if it resolves any of the existing issues people had with 347.09.

What do the release notes say about it? .

This PDF shows the changes and bug fixes.

From the document:

What’s New in Version 347.25
The new GeForce Game Ready driver, release 347.25 WHQL, is aligned with today’s launch of the new GeForce GTX 960. This new GPU brings the features, power, and efficiency of the second-generation Maxwell architecture to a more mainstream gaming audience. One of the most popular features of the Maxwell architecture is Multi-Frame Sampled Anti-Aliasing (MFAA) support. With this latest release, MFAA support is extended to nearly every DX10 and DX11 title. In addition, this Game Ready WHQL driver ensures you'll have the best possible gaming experience for the latest new blockbuster titles including Dying Light.

There are 12 bug fixes listed on pg 11, but none of them are obviously related to video editing. The best thing to do is give it a try and see if it fixes any existing bugs or creates new ones. You can always uninstall/revert if it makes things worse

Have you tried it? What did you find?

I use an older driver version so I haven't had any issues that I can discuss. .

I'm running it now with no problems, but I haven't spent much time recently doing editing so I haven't experienced any of the issues that other people had with 347.09.

I'm digging into editing/producing three 75-minute presentations with two cameras, and I'll let you know if I encounter any problems. These are for a state education board so there isn't much opportunity for creative graphics, transitions or effects, though. In other words, just basic cut/fade/multi-cam stuff, so I'm not expecting any video driver issues to show up on this project. However, I've been surprised before...

Any news? I am thinking of installing the new update, but honestly none of the old or new NVIDIA drivers have fixed my issues with PD13 and my GTX770M.

Everything is working perfectly so far. Is there a post on the issues you're having, or can you briefly share them here?

None of those issues would likely affect PowerDirector users - there are a few related to Linux, some CAD/CAE related, one gaming (SLI) related, one related to OpenGL crash...

Mainly they introduced those drivers just to support the newly released GTX960 video card - if anybody gets one of those cards, it really cannot use any older driver. That would be me next week when my card arrives.

Just an update - I've been running the new driver for 4 days now and no hiccups with previewing or producing

For anyone interested, Intel released a new HD Graphics/Iris driver on the 12th but I had trouble when clicking to accept the terms to download it. The new version is 15.36.14.4080 (10.18.10.4080), and the direct link to the 64-bit driver is here. 32-bit is here.

But gamers have since complained that the GTX 970 seems to falter under pressure when a game tries to use more than 3.5GB of the card's 4GB of VRAM
