This might be of interest to those editing in 4K. And the PD13 scales nicely to the 4X resolution!

The GEFORCE GT640 card will work at 4K 30Hz and will self detect and output at 4K when connected to the 4K #5 port of a VIZIO P series TV. Ours is the 70" version.

It should do the same with later vintage 4K TVs.

Using a mechanical BI-DIRECTIONAL SWITCH it is possible to toggle between a conventional HD PC monitor and the 4K Vizio TV. There is a app 3 sec delay when switching, the time needed for the GT 640 card to adjust to the different resolution and frame rate.

The GT 640 card sells for app $ 75.00.

My computer is a i7 920 with 12 GB ram and will play anything including 4K HEVC when using the free GOM player.

The Vizio P series will not play 264 videos via the USB port, so this is a perfect solution.

Watching my 4K videos from the Sony FDR-AX100 with this setup is just stunning!!

Goodbye PROBOX2 EX
