Import problem from a Blu Ray HELP please

Hi All,,, Help needed please.
I did a family film & put it onto blu ray a few years ago.

Because I have lost the original footage I have to get the footage from the Blu Ray.

Using Power Director 13 I have manage to import the footage to my computer ok and can watch the ENTIRE film as an mpg file which is about 16.5 GB and last for about 1 1/2 hours.

My problem is that when I bring that file onto the timeline it is only about 2 minutes long & probably only about 30mb in size.
How do I fix this / what am I doing wrong

Place/copy the contents (the VIDEO FILES) in the BluRay on to your Hard Drive and then use those files to edit in PowerDirector.

Not sure why though that Power Director failed to do this but anyway a problem solved thanks to you.
