Not sure this is a new item, I think I saw it somewhere else.
Whilst messing around with a PIP object, a totally DIFFERENT pip object (used as a background) decided to hop mostly off-screen.
I am using 2408 on my Phoenix.
I say aloud...all I want for Christmas is PD 13 to work like it's SUPPOSED to. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Hi Barry -

I've never had that particular issue in PiP Designer. Just tried (& failed) to replicate it here with a shifting background & half a dozen PiP Objects moving around with scale & freeform keyframes set.

There are different issues in PiP Designer, but I won't mention them here so as not to distract from your misplacement problem.

Just thinking - did you, during the course of the project, use the copy/paste keyframe attributes feature? Only that I've had little PiP surprises if I copy/paste keyframe attributes to multiple objects.

Cheers - Tony

Tony, of course you answered!
The background image had no motion or any keys.
I was simply adjusting an unrelated pip and I blinked and the background was nearly off the screen. Not a tragedy, but another lovable quirk of PD. I've moved on, but wanted a "public record" in case this becomes widespread. Thanks. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Hi Barry,

Maybe it’s all the «interesting issues» I had with PiP Designer in PD12 you remember.

Am about to start a project in #13 using many tracks and PiPs.......I wonder......
Just something.
