Hello all,
I am a TMT user (moving over for obvious reasons...), and I need some help.
In windows 8, 3d bluray was working fine (with TMT and all the same hardware). However, in 8.1, it seems to have stopped working (in TMT). So I downloaded a trial of PowerDVD 14 (latest build), and installed it.
The 3d advisor says everything passes (other than having a trial version of PDVD). When I play a 3d bluray movie, I get an error that says "Cyberlink PowerDVD stopped 3d playback because you change your display device." Obviously I didn't do this, but I notice the screen flickers a bunch of times while it is trying to get all this started.
The video card is an ATI HD6450 and I had the latest drivers (Omega), but backed down and went with several different older drivers, all with the same result.
I have been working on PC's since the 286 days, so in general I know what I am doing, but this one has me stumped. I would back off 8.1 and down to 8.0, but that looks like it is going to be a no-go. I will have to reformat, and that will be a PIA.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, all I can say that I have Windows 8.1 and the same ATI 6450 based video card and 3D works very well in PDVD. I'm using the latest non-beta drivers. I've never seen that error message that you're getting. I know this doesn't help but at least you know that hardware config can work.
