Hi, I store all my photo's on OneDrive. On my main computer, the photo's are available offline, so are also on the C: drive.
On my other computer, they are only available online

Both computers use PhotoDirector.

On my computer that only has online access to the photo's, when I try to import the photo's to PhotoDirector, I select 'import folder', navigate to my onedrive directory, and within that, to my photo's directory, and tell it to import, however, it gives me the 'Photodirector only supportd jpeg, blah, blah'.... even though I've selected 'include subfolders'.

The folders DO contain jpegs....

Anyone got any ideas, other thsan making the photo's available offline....

Thanks.

Hello Dalders,

You may have to help me out here. My OneDrive is synced with a folder on my PC, & I'm unfamiliar with attempting to access OneDrive files (online) through PhD.

When you say "navigate to my onedrive directory, and within that, to my photo's directory", I'm unsure what you mean. When I navigate to C:\Users\PIX\OneDrive\Documents & then the photos sub-folders, I have no problem (just as you don't on your other PC). What I don't understand is where you're navigating.

As far as I understand, PhD can import from your HHD, camera, SD card, external USB drives or CyberLink Cloud. I'm not aware that it is capable of importing from other online sources.

I'm happy to help out if you can give a little more information.

Hi Pix, thanks for the response,

OK, I'll try and explain a bit better.

On my main computer, I have all of my photo's in my one drive folder, which is on my c: drive, the same as you - on the main folder that contains all my photo folders, I've right clicked, and said 'make these files available offline' (or words to that effect, I'm not in front of my actual PC at the moment).
So, onedrive actually downloads the files, and PhotoDirector can import them.

On my laptop, which is also signed into onedrive, it too has the same folder, however these files are set to be 'available on-line only' (as my laptop has a small hard disc) - so they aren't really there, they are just place holders I presume, which when you open them, it goes to onedrive and downloads them. PhotoDirector doesn't seem to think there's anything there.

So, yes, you are talking about the right folder, on both machines, one is online only, the other is available offline - that's the only difference between them.

Does that make better sense? If not, let me know.

Thanks,
