Problems modifying menu template

Hello there,

I am having problems modifying a menu template. I modified the same template a few weeks ago. I played around with a few different versions I wanted to use, but the one I used I now can't find. I know I saved it, (Save As) but it appears to have disappeared!

Now I am trying to modify the same template again, but when select it in Menu Designer, only the frame of the template loads, leaving a transparent hole in the middle. See attachment. The RED circle shows what I mean. The other circle is the original template. What is going on here? why is it doing that?

I hope i have explained that clearly.

Thanks.

Hello Ian,

I like that: "It appears to have disappeared"

If you used save or save as in Menu Designer, the template you made is there somewhere! It's easy enough to get confused when you're making multiple variants of the same thing (I do).

It's great to post a screenshot, but I'm afraid that one (menu.jpg) is a bit confusing because your PC is mid-way between displaying one thing & the other. "Around the World" is selected, but "World Monopoly" is displayed.

Both those menus have something in common - both contain a masked area to display a thumbnail image on the root menu page. That's the "transparent hole" to which you referred.

So - you've been working on the "Around the World" template. I'm not sure what you mean by "when I select it in Menu Designer, only the frame of the template loads". Do you mean Menu Designer (where you modify/create menus) or Menu Preferences (where you apply them)?

Cheers - Tony

After you click save or save as then you must type in a filename. If you didn't then it won't be saved. You can use the same exact filename each time and see another menu with the same name. PD won't warn you. That may be confusing to you later so it is better to type a different name each time you save a menu.
