Hi,
how can I hide /remove the default tracks on the timeline?
I have always track 1 and 2 in my display, together with the Microphone, Text and Music tracks.
In some projects I only use Track 1 and Music.
As I am working on a laptop do not have all the relevant tracks in one display and have to scoll up and down , many times.
(with Track 2, Text and Microphone in between)
Pls advise.

You cannot remove the default tracks in PowerDirector, but you can hide them.

You can adjust the height of the track display in the user interface, put your mouse cursor at the divide between the preview and library and the tracks. See the double arrow, press the left mouse button, drag the display up or down.

You can also use one of the track heights, small, medium and large.

The Voice and music tracks are still there, just hidden.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I was aware of the option to alter the size with the mouse. However, my problem is that I use the music track for background music . And in your example it even not displayed. I have to scroll the Music track up, if you want to edit the music for fading the music in and out, when a movie is placed on the Track 1.

You said you did not want the music track.

The answer is you can not remove the default tracks on the timeline.

Since you want to use the Music Track, don't resize the display. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.
