What video format for Youtube -videos?

If I want to upload 1920x1080 (30fps) video to youtube. What format do you recommend? The videos are recorded with FRAPS or Dxtory.

Powerdirector's Youtube Uploader does use the WMV format, because WMV has the most compression and makes the smallest files.

Many People Upload MP4.

Myself I use mp4 5000 to 8000 bitrate for 1080P video. I produce them fist. Then go to YouTube and hit the upload button and point it to the file. I never use PD YouTube upload. Intel i7 5960X overclock to 4 Ghz 16 GB of ram.
