Chapter naming
[Post New]
I have made a DVD from some old home video camera footage - 1988 - 1990 era - many of the people are now dead. I really need to identify the people, so I have managed to limit info to 8 chapters. Unfortunately the chapter screen (first has 6 items, and the second has two) is so crowded the text under the thumb nails is being over written - is there any way I can reduce the font size of the chapter identifying text?

Yes there is. Select the menu and click modify to open menu designer, select the titles\chapters page and you can change the font size of the text to be smaller. Since you are creating a DVD and not a BD then then small text may be to blurry for others to see on the TV screen. I suggest you try other things too like resizing the thumbnails to make them smaller and/or ofsetting them to allow more text without overlapping.

Happen to be working on menu issues now. See my other post for ideas on what you can do with a menu: http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/40914.page Below is an example on what you can do with a six thumbnail chapter page allowing more than a 30 character filename per chapter without overlapping text. Let us know if this helps.
