Blu Ray Disc Quality Question

Hi Everyone
i am using power director 12 after being very disappointed with MAGIX movie edit pro.

i have been making a 25gb blu ray disc and wanted to know if im right in what im thinking, that is that the bigger the bit rate the better looking the film should be?

i started off with a 10.9GB mkv file with 5.1 DTS 1920x1080, i have used all 4 conversions that are available for this size and was wondering if someone could look at them and tell me which one in theory should be the best quality?

i have attached 3 text documents showing the spec of each one, the 4th one i shall upload in the next post, as per attachment limit.

Many Thanks

Pete

MKV video can be either interlaced or progressive. See this link: http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/329117-Interlaced-video-interpreted-as-progressive-in-mkv-container?s=0a165143efcb458f39de2a378a2955ae . That mediainfo is more important. If it is progresssived then you might want to stay with progressive.

Your mkv mediainfo suggests that it could be a low bitrate rip from a Blu-ray disc since it's progressive at 23.976 fps. The DTS 6 channel audio also suggest a rip or professional audio so you may want to stay with that.
