Hi Eugene -

Yes - just like any other project created in a previous version.

I did this only yesterday in making some produced files to test on my new Sony 4K TV... back on the issue you raised months back about PD produced files not playing correctly on Sony 4K TVs. The TV only landed on the wall yesterday, so I'm still in the middle of that.

Cheers - Tony

Thank you Tony.
I am looking forward to using the HEVC 265 codec, wonder how clean it is.

One more question, not sure to upgrade or to buy a boxed version.
With either, is it possible to incorporate paid for items like music, special transitions etc from PD11 or PD12 in a PD13 clean install ?

My computer at the moment has PD11 and PD12, I do not want to add an other version to it.

Thanks

Eugene

Eugene -

All your custom stuff will be available in PDR13... purchased SmartSound tracks, style templates etc. With a clean install (i.e. after a complete removal of previous versions) you may need to re-install some things like style templates from CL.

Many of us probably have the same "conundrum" with multiple versions of PD installed. I've done a bit of rationalising myself recently & everything pre-PDR12 is gone.

I can't offer any advice on the upgrade/boxed/full version, having never used an "upgrade".

Cheers - Tony
