Dwnloading transitions from DirectorZone: small problem

When downloading particles, PIP objects, Titles.... from DirectorZone, they are immediately usable in PD13.

With PD13, we can now download Transitions. But the process is not the same.

At the end of the download and install process, a message says : "the transition has been installed and is ready to be used" (approximatively).

BUT it's not absolutely true. The transition doesn't appear in the tag downloaded transitions.

To see and use it, it's necessary to close and re-open PD13

Not very user-friendly...!!!!

Why this process is it not the same that the one of the other DirectorZone downloads?

Hi Jean-Paul -

That's not the case here.

Whether I select Open with... or Save file, the new transition is available in PDR13 straight away (without the need to close & re-open PD)

Hi, Tony,

Thank you to have looked...

It's very strange.I made the test agan and had always the same process.

Calling DirectorZone from PD13, I downloaded and installed Transition T-04. After receiving the message saying the transition had been installed, nevertheless, it was not in the tag "Downloaded".
See Picture 1.

I closed and re opened PD13, and this time, it was here.... See picture 2.

EDIT: Same problem with downloading Particles. For titles and PIP objects, its good.

Guys -

There's no way I was trying to imply it wasn't an issue. I was just unable to replicate it here. Yes - I know - I hate answers that say "Works fine here" too. Fat lot of help!

I posted a little screen capture showing what happens here when downloading particles & transitions from DirectorZone...

Side note about karma: That particle effect I randomly chose to download... every time I try to put it in the timeline the NVIDIA driver crashes & I have to force PD to close.

The second Particle Downloads title is supposed to be Transition Downloads

I wonder what it could be causing the issue? Some effects show up immediately and others need PD to refresh itself...

Here the alpha trasição does not add directly PD13.
I go to the download folder, give 2 clik on file and immediately send appears in PD13. AMD-FX 8350 / 8GB DDR3
SSD SUV400S37240G / 2-HD WD 1TB
AMD Radeon R9 270 / AOC M2470SWD
Windows 7-64 / PD16 Ultimate

Since last patch (2123), it's now working fine.

Particles and transitions are immediatly avalable in the downloaded folders.
