only captures in black/wht..?

I am using the KWORLD DVD Maker interface to feed from my 8mm Hi8 camcorder into PowerDirector 4 to capture, but it only shows up in B/W. I have run it through my HDTV that shows the color feed on the monitor but again B/W on the capture and burn on the laptop running the PwrDir 4 software.

That's got to be a connection issue... RCA in.

I have the same device with PD5 (I use PD7) ... please note I just use it occasionally to bring in an analogue transmitted video signal to a laptop.
