Getting a message to connect to the interent when attempting to register

I just purchased PD12 today and have it installed. It is working (including logging into DirectorZone from the program) however when I try to register it tells me I am not connected to the internet. I have checked that it is not blocked in Windows 7 Firewall or any other program. Help?

Things to try...

Double-check firewall blocking.

Reinstall PD with anti-virus disabled.

If you are on a router, reboot it and try again.

Thanks for the reply. I did reboot, both the computer and the modem, to no avail. I am not ready to uninstall/reinstall yet. It's odd to me that it valedated just fine, and I can connect to Director Zone from the program. It only happens with the registration.
